It's common for a poster to come out and roundly criticize everything they've heard or experienced with a certain medication, and to warn others away from this drug.
However, the poster assumes that everyone on earth will have the same reaction to this medication, and others will take the poster's uneducated opinion as gospel.
Seroquel has helped me greatly with anxiety and insomnia. I've read a post swearing that Seroquel "burned a hole" in the poster's brain, and this might have been true for the individual posting. I've been guilty of this myself because
I had such a bad experience with Depakote, and I thought it was my duty to warn others.
It is quite possible that Seroquel is keeping me alive, but it is really not my place to recommend or criticize this drug. No matter what I think of it, I am not a doctor, and my opinion is as individual as my biological and environmental makeup.
Nobody should accept or reject medication based on the opinion of a poster.
