5htp???

Im looking into an ssri alterative. I take zoloft, and i cannot take the sexual side effects, and you cannot even have a few beers without passing out. I ordeed 5htp 50mg with b6 added. Should 5htp be take with or without food? Starting 50mg for a week, then go up to 100mg. I will fist wean off zoloft then start 5thp.
