I think you could probably go as fast as adding 200 mg every 2 days. Just keep in mind that for major depression, most people need 1000 to 1200 mg of SAM-e. You can take half when you wake up and half about an hour before lunch. The reason to break it up is to pevent stomach upset. The reason to take it all before lunch is to prevent insomnia.

Multivitamin, Vitamin B6, & a folic acid 400mcg (100%RDA) for about 2 weeks now with little or no response.
