Thiothixine [Navane] is associated with a low incidence of weight gain, so it is certainly possible that it is causing gradual weight gain. You might want to consider ziprasidone [Geodon], as it is associated with almost no weight gain. The problem with ziprasidone is that it is expensive, even at low doses, so you would definitely need some form of health coverage. I have done very well with ziprasidone, and have not gained any weight during the time I have been on it (since last year).
