Doctors can be scary but they can help, and it sounds like you could use some help. For example, if you've had medication in the past that you didn't like the effects of, you could ask instead for simply something to help with anxiety or with sleep. They will not give you anything that they think you would just throw away, so that means mostly the prescriptions really are for very helpful medications. People are all different and respond differently, so a lot of times one has to try several things before one feels good.
I really hope you feel better and that you can get the abuse to stop. No one deserves abuse.
If you really can't get to a doctor, at least find someone who is educated about the types of things going on with you. For example a psychologist. They are talk only, will keep your confidence completely, and often have really good practical advice.
