In reply to med recommendations?, posted by maximillian on March 10, 2002, at 5:35:20
Hi,I'm not a doctor, but here are some of my thoughts. There are many medicine
options, but based on what your concerns you posted...
Remeron is an antidepressant that generally signifacantly enhancences
sleep quality without loss of libido. You may be able to take this without any other
sleep aid. Side effects may include drowsiness at lower dowsness
and mild weight gain. At higher doses it is a bit more stimulating and less sedating.
Unless you really are having some neurological dysfunction a well reputed pdoc ought to be
able to work well with you. This is just a suggestion to talk to your doctor about.
There are other medicine choices. Your results may vary. Please establish good communication with your doctor about your
concerns, he should be able to help tailor medicines to meet your concerns. Most importantly
you want to get your mental health back up and running.
Drop a line if you have more questions.Best wishes.
