strength of benzodiazipines

Posted by The Missing Patient on December 29, 2001, at 22:43:19

I heard it was dangerous to be on benzodiazipines for over four weeks. Well it's been four years for me. They started me on Lorazepam, then I went to Oxazepam, then I was bounced around the family, from diazepam, triazepam, back to lorazepam, then finally clonazepam.

Without the pills in my system I feel constanly tired, no motivation, no ambition, I become very anti-social, I have major mood swings, minor sezuires, daily panic attacks, memory loss (with or without the drugs), am constantly shaking, can't eat, and no sex drive. It also seems that my body can no longer produce adrenaline.

I was wondering, what is the safest "benzo" to be on? I notice clonazepam stays in my system the longest, is there any others that stay in the system longer? Is there an order you can put them from weakest to strongest? It seems my doctors and "shrinks" are stumped. They never answer my questions.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
