I must say that to read your comments not only have they concerned me but saddened me. I must say that I have been on Effexor XL since May and I have stopped and started them without any side effects what so ever. Maybe, it's just a case that I got used to the side effects or never really thought about them. I have been off them for two weeks now and there have been no side effects. I have however had to restart taking them as suicidal thoughts have been bouncing around my head. The doctor started me off on 75mg a day however this was no help what so ever, so I am now on 150mg and have been since June except for the two week break I had in July. To be perfectly honest though I don't really see them as any help at the moment, maybe a larger dose is needed, or maybe I dont need them at all??
