Stef, I got the sweats at some point during the first few months of being on the effexor, but it turned out that my thyroid was also out of wack, so who knows which thing actually caused it. I do know that now that I'm on the thyroid meds, and my levels are back to normal, the sweating's gone.Probably couldn't hurt to get that checked out just in case. They say depression can be a sign of an underactive thyroid.
