Though popular theory and popular practice says it takes 4 to 6 weeks, that in my own experience is just not true. Going back in the archives of this board, and by looking deeply into scientific studies, there is ample evidence that when someone encounters the correct drug for them, good results without side effects can be experienced in as little as a few days to two weeks. By good results, I mean there is a strong hint of goodness. Total recovery does take longer, but the right drug will make itself known early. If a drug is not hitting a bullseye, then yes, it will take time to cause chain reactions and maybe eventually get around to the real underlying problem. Maybe not. Those who subscribe to the 6 week thing have thousands of books and writings to back it up. But they are all onesided and leave out important details that refute what they say.
