It is supposed to help with the architecture of sleep. So, it doesn't just knock you out, it really helps you sleep. I only have to take it about every three days at bedtime, and it works like a charm. It isn't addictive either, as far as I can tell. You should ask your doctor about it. It is also really cheap.

I take Effexor XR 225 mg -- 150mg in the morning and 75 mg after dinner. I also take Trazadone 50mg for sleep. It works like a charm for me too,Debbie
