Go to the doc.
Depakote affects liver function. As you know, proper liver function is needed to make white blood cells. Therefore, if the depakote is adversely affecting your liver and you don't know it because you haven't had a blood test, then the low white blood cell count may allow an infection to start. The result: sore throat. Solution: switch mood stabilizers AND get some antibiotics. Of course, if the sore throat is allergies or a cold, then it probably has little to do with the depakote. But you never know. Leave it to the professionals.
