In reply to Paxil sedation - will that wear off in time???, posted by Margit on June 18, 2001, at 21:31:44

I used to take Paxil, and at first, I was uncomfortably sleepy all the time. I called the pharmacist and he told me the sleepiness WOULD wear off, and it did. I don't remember how long it took, but he was right.

> I have been on Paxil 20mg for 5 weeks and last week my pdoc increased it to 30mg. I am very tired on Paxil. I sleep 12 hrs at night and take a nap during the day. I don't think I can take this sleepiness for as long as I have to take this med. Will this wear off? Any advice is appreciated.
