Severe TD isn't just about looks. My father chokes on many things. He often gets things down the wrong pipe and starts to cough so bad he vomits. He's gotten pneumonia from this.

Alcohol makes the symptoms worse. I guess on a plus side he doesn't drink anymore. Smoking also makes it worse.

Any symptoms, arm leg movements or of the mouth, should be taken seriously when they appear. High dosages of Vit E can help if taken at onset.

Any severe illness is cruel and unusual punishment, and the older meds were just as barbaric.
