THAT is encouraging! I just want to feel "normal" like getting up and jumping in the shower and going off to the store -- things my friends do now. I look at them and say "Wow, I wish I felt like that."

I don't think you realize what your answers meant to me. Because I am an anxious person, everything new is "bad" even good things. I get by okay by hiding the "what ifs" and avoiding situations where I may have problems but here, I let it all hang out and your answers were so comforting. While I know it may not be the drug for me -- I am only at the beginning of the journey now that I committed to trying SSRIs, I would like to think this is going to help with the least side affects.
When I first took Xanax, I took the pill and waited to die for about a month. After that, I was feeling so much better that I never thought about side affects or anything again.
Hopefully similar results will happen with Celexa.
