Imipramine Experiences

My doctor is advising me to switch from imipramine to
a newer AD (was recently experiencing cardiac symptoms
and after having testing done, am now being sent to a
heart specialist).My doctor feels that imipramine is probably
the cause of my problems. Has anyone else experienced
any cardiac-related problems from this med? Has anyone
switched from imipramine to another AD that worked as
well? I'm extremely sensitive to the newer ADs so am
worried about making this transition.
