Kemerald--

Welcome to Babbleland!

Some questions first: Do your runs of dysrrhythmia tend to occur at the same time of day? If so, when? Why are you taking an a.m. bolus of Wellbutrin (IR) in addition to your SR dose? Are you taking dig. p.r.n. (as needed) or regularly? Which drug are you taking to control hypertension?

In most cases, all parameters of medications matter--which drug, which type of that drug, how much, how often, how regularly, and what other drugs are being taken.

IMHO, in the absence of documented cardiac pathology, it may be easier to manage side effect cardiac symptoms medically than it is to find another psych med which works as well yet causes no serious problems. After all, depression itself is a significant risk factor for cardiac disease.

It's important to keep in mind, however, that anything mentioned on this board is no more than a suggestion for discussion with your health professional. There are many incredibly knowledgeable people here, but what you will be offered are possible alternatives, personal experiences, and caring support. Our motto is YMMV--Your Mileage May Vary.

Looking forward to your posts. Well wishes---medlib
