jbird - Rashes do happen with Wellbutrin about 2% of the time. Call your doc before taking another tablet, just to be safe.

It doesn't sound like an allergic reaction because if it were, the first dose you would have taken would have been recognized by the body's defense system as foreign and antibodies would have been made. It is the second dose you take that causes a full blown allergic reaction, when these new antibodies cause the release of histamine from mast cells (a white blood cell) and the histamine causes the allergic reaction (eg rash, cold-like symptoms to, in severe cases, respiratory depression and anaphylactic shock). I don't think that is what is happening here, but I would still tell your doc about it before taking another dose.
