Hi worry^3
Like James said, anxiety and depression can often go hand in hand. Those two are really tightly bound for me, with my depression driving my anxiety more than the other way around. Two months ago I was looking at a change in meds--looking for something to augment my nortriptyline/klonopin and help with some OCD. My pdoc and I decided to go after the depression instead of treating the OCD and it's working out really well for me: the ritalin I'm taking now is doing a lot for my mood, which is easing my anxiety level waaay back.
It's not the meds that are the message, but the approach. As others have said, you and your doctor can figure out what's right for you -- just don't rule out how depression might be tied in here.
btw -- is the klonopin too sedating for you? Is that why you take it so late? I take mine first thing in the AM ... otherwise, the "buzz" just gets to be too much to function all that well. Just a thought....
cheers,
bob
