The Trazadone helps somewhat, but I average 5 to 6 hours of sleep a night with waking up several times at night. I used to sleep 8 or 9 hours per night before the anxiety. Has anyone taken Trazadone with minimal results then taken Remeron with better results?

As you know, we all respond so differently. I for example hated Trazodone. It gave me restless sleep, nightmares, and a headache. I find Remeron much better for sleep. It kicks in quickly--about half an hour--and I sleep solid 6 to 8 hours. I dream a lot, but no nightmares. Dosing is tricky though. I've discovered 7.5mg is ideal for sleep with me. 15mg is too much and actually worsens sleep. Remeron kind of works backwards--that is, the lower the dose the more sedation. I've even tried half of a 7.5mg chunk and found it even more sedating than 7.5mg. But at 7.5mg I can tell it is potentiating my Prozac somewhat. Most people use 15mg, but I find for me that is too much.
