Sure, I've had good experiences with Dr Maria Caserta at U. of Chicago - psychopharmacologist - no talk therapy. Look in the U of C staff directory on line.Dr Fred Miller is head of Psychopharmacology at Evanston hospital and is highly regarded city-wide. No talk.
Terrific psycochologists:
Steve Tovian PhD. at Evanston hospital - good for biofeedback as well as Rational Emotive Behaivor Therapy.
Lawrence Horberg PhD. is in Skokie and Chicago and is really superb in every respect. He is recommended by Fred Miller MD mentioned above.
Ideally it would be great to work with one of the psychopharmacologists in conjunction with one of the psychologists above.
You may want your psychologist to call these people to get you in to see them. Just the 2nd opinion process - done every day all the time.
Good luck!
