Neurontin was one I took for a form of neuralgia in my ear at one point. It is sedating, but has a short half life and people usually build up a tolerance to the sedating effect. What dose of Neurontin did he suggest. One of the nice things about Neurontin is that it is not broken down by your body, just eleminited like lithium. I've never taken Remeron, excellent drug, and probably a good combo with prozac. Since Neurontin has a mood stabilizing effect, it could work well with prozac. I would try Neurontin first, give it some time to work, a month or so, then the Remeron. You might be able to work all three in at the same time (I'm no doc, so check with one).
Best of luck and blessings,
