I took Seroquel for generalized anxiety disorder for about three months at a dose of 600mg/day, which is quite high. It did significantly reduce my anxiety but the side effects like slurred speech and thought problems really bothered me and others around me so consequently I quit the medication. Seroquel might be more useful at a lower dose for controlling GAD.
