hey there, im convinced that i have ADD, my parents and teachers have
been convinced of this as well for a little while now..
i just recently had a nervous breakdown over some major problems in my life that i was ignoring, and i
am soon going to see a psychiatrist for help. the problem is
that i have in the past and am currently using amphetamines and
methamphetamines recreationally. im guessing that the doctor will most
likely put me on anti-depressants, but im also quite sure that he will
diagnose me with ADD. i do plan on being completly honest with him
about my problem with drugs, but what are the chances that he
will see my use of them as a reason not to begin treating the ADD with
the appropriate drugs? if he thinks that aderall or ritalin are not
a good idea, what else could he possibly give me that would work?
