LMAO!!! I thought of the BK thread on Social when the Blue Man Group commercial came on the t.v. the other day. I almost started a thread to see who is equally creeped out by the Blue Man Group.

You know, you are probably right - they travel around with the BK just to creep people out. They wait in the background, hidden behind some bushes, and just when your nitro kicks in to calm your heart after the BK window scare - BOOM - they there are!!! Ugh, just when you thought it was safe to look out the window. . .

freaky advertising spokespeople...i wonder if the same advertising agency is responsible for the blue men, the diabolical burger king AND the Quaker Oats Man?

someone who watched one too many Twilight Zone episodes...someone who ate one too many Twinkies before bed, thereby initiating nightmares. Whatever the case, they are devilish indeed.

No problem, BK is a disgusting plastic, or fiberglass or something, monstrosity who has terrified decent innocent people for long enough, and I say: "His day of reckoning is upon him!!!" He won't know when, or how, or where, but I'll bust a cap in his crown wearin', flame grillin', sorry excuse for a meat patty king *ss!

Alright now, I'm sounding a little (just a little) violent, and most people say I'm one of the most soothing people they know.

Have I been supressing all my rage so it can finally explode onto the unknowing puppets (BK, quaker oats guy, the blue man group) of mass media which has warped and degraded our society?

Maybe we need a rally. I'll make some posters. We'll picket outside some advertising companies.

lol. I sure hope the civility rules don't extend to non-human things. That just wouldn't work for me, at least in this case (obviously).

The mere existance of that BK is uncivil.

LOL. Awesome! You, girl, are the BOMB! I bow down to your way with words AND your magnificent threats about BK!!

Random thoughts...

Does he...I mean *it* actually have an *ss? We'd have to see from the back...and the front is bad enough....

I know I've never in my life used the phrase "magnificent threats" in a sentence before. Hmmm...

My, my, I tapped into some aggression of my own. Well, at least it's all directed at non-people...that's something...

No, no, not to worry dear Damos. I promise I will never entertain the idea of chopping off any of your body parts.

Believe me, that violence is reserved only for heinous, non-human, non-speaking creatures who have the audacity to stand outside windows with groups of enslaved forest animals, or climb under the covers with unsuspecting people...

----oh, but wait, weren't you telling me last week you do the window and the covers things for sport.....?

*(JUST KIDDING!!!!! Damos is okay. I repeat, that was a JOKE. Damos did NOT say he peeps in widows or climbs in beds for fun. lol. haha. hehe. just me being zany. wish I could market that somehow...)*

PS - Do you have BK there? And if so, do these creepy TV ads run in Oz, also?

ROTFL: Dearest 10der, that is easily said never having met me. I'm sure there are many who would consider the loss of my head a significant improvement - myself included some if not most days. And yet many more who would consider chopping me up into little bits just for the sheer pleasure of it.

Hmmm, guess I've gotta change my MO now ;-)

Nah, no BK here. Some guy in Queensland already had a store called BK or something similar so when they came out here they called themselves Hungry Jacks. So no creepy BK adds in Oz - YAY!!!!!. We do have the Blue Group freaks though. Can't actually think of a creep Oz add.

Love this thread.

T'were a very funny post and not the least obscene.

Creepy ad's

There's a beer ad showing in my part of the world that creeps me out big time.

There's a guy fast asleep in bed and his tongue slithers out of his mouth and starts travelling across town. It kind of walks like a leech does.

It slithers through the most disgusting filth imaginable and arrives at someone's house where there's a party. I think it slithers past people making out and it goes into this dirty disgusting bathroom with a bathtub full of ice. It climbs up the bathtub and dives in. Then it climbs out with its tip wrapped around a bottle of beer.

It then slithers home (still clutching the beer) and crawls up to bed and wiggles into the guy's mouth which causes him to wake up. He's then just baffled as to why he has a bottle of beer in his mouth.

It gives me the heebie jeebies.
