Yeah, I'm in the "return to work" phase, and I feel it is too soon for me. I mean, I haven't worked in 3 years, and this job I'm looking at is fast-paced and full of memory items (like menus). I'm terrified about it, but don't know what to do.

can they start you in back? sounds like counter work and customer service....but there are jobs in the kitchen, right?
do you have a choice of diff. chains to apply to? there might be one that is paced slightly more to your specific needs.
wishing you were closer to a larger metro. area that would have nonprofits who help ppl back on their feet after going through the system.
knowing your limits is important to remining clean and sober and that seems to be one of the most important things to hold onto while you rebuild the rest of life around that.
holding faith for you to find a job that is good enough for now. don't borrow tomorrow's worries today.......there's plenty of time for those worries later ; )
gentle hugs pax. you can do this. you ARE doing it.
This is the end of the thread.
