If I don't drop or fail any courses I will graduate after this academic year. I want to do well. I wrote out a studying schedule for myself. I'm staying on campus to study and go to class from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM every weekday and I'm not going to study any other time. When I study, I'm going to really study. I'm going to treat school like a full time job.
I've discovered that I cannot study at home. I have to be in the library to study. There are too many distractions at home.
To prepare for school I'm going to wake up early every weekday from now on.

Good luck Deneb on getting up early! That seems to be the biggest challenge! ;-) If you are around the school more, the more potential friends and boyfriends you might get (fringe benefits for your "job") LOL What classes are you taking?

Sounds like a great work ethic. I'm glad you recognize that home is distracting. Sometimes putting yourself in the right place is the best way to boost productivity. AND, it should be motivating to know that if you get your job done, you will have many evenings free.
Best of luck to you. Do you eat in the cafeteria at school? What's your major (area of study? if you don't mind sharing).
Best of luck to you twinkling star :)

Hi Deneb,
What a great plan. I don't think you'll drop or fail, you seem very determined to finish. Good for you.

Sometimes I eat in the cafeteria. I'm just studying general science.

Hey Deneb*
"just" General Science!!
you impress me!
I think you're smart to only take 2 courses. Organic Chemistry is a lot of material to learn. I hope you find it fun. I liked it more than general chemistry. The lab work was often quite smelly though.
We did one lab synthesizing Amyl Acetate. It's the synthetic flavoring used for "banana". The whole building smelled like some candy barf for a week. Ugh. that smell is still repulsive to me. My clothes STANK of if until I did laundry!
you'll do well. I have a feeling ... ;-)

I wonder if there's an Amyl Acetate Free class?
(I do want to take organic chem, but now I guess I'll have to rethink that...)
