You're a hard worker!

What kind of qualification are you studying?

I'm hoping to be studying soon myself, but the degree and qualification will take no less than 7 years! Theres a field trip to South Africa though, so thats pretty cool lol

*This will probably get re-directed to students, I think.

Thats excellent - sounds very intersting..

How long has/is it going to take to you've finally completed all the studying - how long has it taken so far and how long is left to go? (I'm sure I could have worded that better lol)

~well i cannot recall how many actual credits i have that will transfer towards my CJ degree but i will have my criminal justice done at this pace in 6 months maybe and i have half my psych. credits so that just depends b/c i will have my 11 and 1 year old boys and then a newborn girl (I AM DONE!!)..lol i'm giving my self 2 years total to have all i need b/c i wanna be home w/ them, not have them in daycare unless i landed a job at night???? i have a lil advantage though as my oldest brother is a SWAT officer and our last names are VERY rare. he has also fooled the dept. into liking him =P j/k with my rape trial coming up after 5 years, my life seems back on track and my old motivation and will came back??!!!

!!! 8 exams??? Amazing! You done beyond good, you done great.

I just started a couple of classes, and find that I don't think at all I could go to school full time again. (Then again, I'm old, the kids around me are young -- one of my two teachers is younger than I am, for that matter. Maybe it's not that I couldn't handle the work -- maybe I just couldn't handle how OLD I feel...) Anyway, my two current classes are enough that I am feeling overwhelmed, so all I can say is, "WOW! 8 Exams? That's a huge amount of work this wildcard11 is capable of. She must be pretty amazing."

Good for you, congrats!

the difference is that i'm doing mine online so it is self paced. classroom schedules are at their pace so it takes longer. basically i read my material and take the exam online and it is cheaper than the college i attended here. i'm just trying to do as much as possible b/c i have around 3 1/2 months until i have a baby girl(it's really up to her..lol), and parents know how exhausting that is at 1st ;o), especially w/ a 1 year old! i didn't wanna sound conceited or something. just wondered if others have done that...

This doesn't have anything to do with school,
but my dad was a forensic investigator (not scientist) for the police for 15 years, until he retired. He still gets called out every once in a while on tough cases.
He was one of the top 4 in Canada, and got a letter of commendation from the P.M.

At that time, you couldn't just be a forensic investigator, or profiler you had to have years of policework behind you.
It's fascinating, the profiling part amazes me.
