I feel like absolute sh*t. Excuse my French :).
As I've mentioned before on this board, I'm trying to finish my Ph.D. in English. I'm writing the last chapter of my dissertation and am supposed to finish it by July. But I just can't keep going. I feel so hopeless. I hate my life and everything about it. Can someone help?

I'm not sure on your time frame or anything... But if you were me then you would be working ahead of schedule. Are you able to go easy for a couple weeks or something? Sometimes just deciding to go easy... Makes the whole thing enjoyable again.

You have a hell of a lot on you right now so breathe. Do something good for you today. Is that possible? Maybe get your hair done or a manicure/pedicure? Or take a walk to relieve some stress? I would let you borrow my punching bag if I could~it works great. Have you slept good the past few days? I just know how badly stress can affect mind, body and soul.I'm here to listen. (((hugs)))

I never worked on a Ph.D, but I did go back to college to get my second degree with two kids. One was a baby. I also worked full time and my classes were 150 miles away. I went at night.
I know what it feels like to want to "throw in the towel." You are almost there.
I hope that these are encouraging words.
