I have a hook in my ceiling

Posted by cubic_me on September 22, 2004, at 18:20:33

I've come back to university and moved into a new room. There is a hook in the ceiling. I doubt it would hold my weight, but having it there makes me think about suicide maybe even more than I would otherwise.

Taking it down would involve making a hole in the ceiling, and would be hard to explain.

What should I do with it?

PS I wouldn't actually use it, it just triggers my thinking.

Can you take it down and paint over it?

How 'bout hanging a plant or something from it? Maybe you can change the message that you are getting from it instead of just getting rid of it... just a thought.

Dee.

I read the posts on here and on social, and have hung a union jack patterned knee high sock on it for now. I'm looking for something more adventurous to go on it though!

Thanks for your suggestions, cubic x
