i've got a good job opportunity for you!

here's what you do!

you start doing computer software development.

you put all your work on github. that's a good thing to do. that's a good job for you. do a bunch of work and put it all up there on github.

so there's a convenient location for people who are trawling for stuff to steal to find things on.

great, huh.

no?

well... you could work for the 'apache way' ideology, then. because, you know, the usa has been so wonderful in how it has treated the indigenous people of america. i'm sure they will treat the indigents of software development just great too, right? pay them and so on? right? for doing good work that they believe in?

no?

well you could hand it all over to microsoft. use word. excel.

google then? google docs?

well maybe apple, then. you trust apple -- right? you could download the bloaty bloat of x-code.

no?

lose functionality then.

right.

sure.

good idea.

so whose deciding on those pay-roll systems, then.

whose deciding which teachers they will stop paying (you want to keep the ones actually teaching out of the schools so don't pay them until they can't afford to keep working that job else all they are teaching teh students is how to be the little bitch of the government)

right.

the kiwi-way

we are going to do maths in the schools...

i'm going to teach you the maths that is appropriate for you.

that means we are going to focus on the most concrete life-skills.

because that is what is appropriate for you.

we are going to keep you so you are always constantly battling and struggling with the most basic of the necessities of life.

that is because you struggle with life-skills.

do you understand? do you understand where the primary responsibiilty for this problem lies?

good.

that was the first lesson of mathematics.

now we will start showing you why this course is too hard for you.

so, we have managed (by ommission) to remove from your mind any awareness that there is this thing that involved higher order or higher level basic concepts (what maths was supposed to be about)... 'maths' just means these basic life-skills problems that are too hard...

we would like you to voluntarily choose to drop out of math...

but if you insist on learning math we are going to focus on negative numbers.

negative numbers are what happens to your bank account. let's focus on negative numbers and what larger means. we aren't going to represent them on a number line (and we most certainly are not going to represent them in cartesian space) but we are going to have a chatty chat about them -- because you are language people not maths people. because you struggle with meeting your basic needs for the reason or because you lack basic life-skills. see? so the entire focus of the curriculum that is right for you (one you are allowed to experience success on or in and the ONLY one you are allowed to experience success on or in) is going to be in having a chatty chat.

we are going to get you writing essays on how you solve these life-skills problems.

we are going to ask you to solve real-world problems like whether to purchase your x-box (series s only because series x is not allowed in new zealand -- we want it very clearly recorded all your online time that you spend playing games online and do experiements on you like how sh*tty you are at games because of us throttling the speed and seeing what you put up with in loading times etc)... anyway...

so we will make a complex wordy problem. where there are many different ways in which you could go about solving the problelm. you need to do a sequence or series of steps and they don't need to be done in a particular order --

except the reason why you didnt' get a better grade on the examination is ALWAYS something they can say is because you did things in a different order. they say that the marking guide said that they were required to mark them wrong unless they were done in a particular (arbitray) order.

so then the teachers can basically choose to give (or not give) the answer to some of the students (or not) on the basis of.. which of the studnets pays them, i guess. i mean, you gotta make a living. right? and the government isn't going to pay you, so...

or else the reason you didn't get a better mark is because your explanation wasn't good enough. they just say that. they can ALWAYS say that. that is to say they always give them discretion to fail students for maths because they didn't explain better.

and in this way tehy set studnets up to accept the message, only, that maths is not for them, that they do not have basic life-skills, and that they will struggle to meet their basic needs.

they are also given various messages about how everything is about money and about managing (but it's very very difficult too hard in fact which is your fault for being cognitively deficient or defective) your negative balance in your bank account because of your purchases of things like x-box and overseas travel trips.

this is the new zealand curriculum.

_____________

unless you pay.

______________

you could buy-in to the cambridge curriculum.

question for the discerning reader: why would you think that the cambridge curriculum is any better / different?

i mean... i agree it is likely more 'clever' or 'developed' in concealing the obvious or blatant...

new zealand is like...

apeing.

a fun-house mirror with the flaws or whatever magnified.

we know this because international community won't do anything about this b*llsh*t.

it's a tiny f*ck*ng tin-pot country.

showing the world what happens... leading the way in de-evolution dissolution and development. the prevention and prohibition of anyting that makes life worth living.

child abuse highest in the world.
suicide highest in the world.

nobody wants to live, like that.

well then, just take it then. go on.

you can have hell all to yourselves for as long as you like
