A babbler friend told me about this Japanese plum wine and said it was really good and that even non drinkers like it.
Well it took a while to find it (I went to several stores and they didn't have it) but I finally found it and drank a tiny bit tonight.
It's soooo good! OMG, this is going to be a favourite of mine from now on. Really good flavour! The kind I bought has 23% alcohol so it is really concentrated. I can only take miniscule sips, but the flavour explodes in my mouth. It's really nice!
One shot glass full of this stuff took me more than 2 hours to drink. This is terrific because it means the bottle will last a long time! I'm really not looking to get drunk off this. I'm drinking it for the flavour so it's perfect!
OMG, a cake should be made from this lol. It's so good!

My hubby and I still split a b52 shot on vacation,to remind us of the good ole days, when we were just boyfriend and girlfriend. He was 19,and I was 26.We used to get 6 b52s and split them, then move on to beer!

Actually, what is a b52? I don't know that one.
Ummm. Beer. As Homer Simpson would say. I miss good beer. Every so often, like maybe once a year (how pathetic) I will nurse a quarter glass of very good beer.

That sounds like just the sort of drink I loved. I might have even had one :)
Maybe for Christmas or New Years. I could really live it up and have a whole drink. Whoo-hoo.

Yes,I might have a whole drink, next vacation.but then maybe not,for some reason,I get very anxious after a sip,I always hear a voice saying,"youre on klonopin, you might stop breathing"Liquor scares me most,Im ok w/several sips of a beer, but only once in a blue moon.

Well, it is important to keep breathing :-)
Heck, I was just getting crazy. I don't know anyone who would make me a b52. And I ain't going to a bar.... That's just me. Been there, done that.
My favorite bar was destroyed in an earthquake. It had overstuffed red velvet booths that were semi-circles. It was part of a Chinese restaurant. The wall behind the bar was a beautiful hand carved wood of grape clusters and leaves imported from China. One day I realized that there were bats carved into the arbor here and there.
We could sit and talk and it was quiet and a little dark. The bartenders didn't care how long we nursed our drinks. It was no meat market. Just friends and conversation.
Anyways, I don't drink because it isn't good for me. Too hard on my body and it interfere with my mood and my meds. I get very very happy for awhile....

The bar sounds gorgeous!Ive also had some time w/alcohol,you do feel great at first, takes away all the crap in your head. But eventually, its not so exciting anymore, esp. awaking w/intense hangovers.I do miss those times tho, when I drank just enough to enjoy the party, but not so much that I danced on the tables.anyway, that life is over for me,now its fruit smoothies,& green tea!
This is the end of the thread.
