Do you feel stronger at the broken places? I feel stronger at Some of the broken places, but overall, I feel like my foundations aren't as strong. I feel that over the years, the amount of wind it would take to topple this building (me) gets less & less with each crisis.

I'm sorry you feel diminished, scattered & scared. Do you go for therapy? I'm sorry, I can't remember if you do. I hope so. I think it's good to have a trained person helping us

yeah, I do go to therapy, and will actually be going more often soon.
I am tired of being scared. People say to me that I don't give the impression of being anxious and terrified. I suppose it is because I have managed to "function" despite it. I wonder what someone else might think if they could be me for a while. Maybe we all struggle, but I feel a lot like I'm just going to be overwhelmed.I have these dreams...where this giant wave is hovering overhead above me, and it's just about to crash.
Do I feel strong at the broken places?? not so much, but I suppose I try.
I guess I need to believe that something survives despite the losses we face. Some of this is about someone who is losing everything, and what remains of him.thanks Kath, pardon my rambling

~ your dreams certainly reflect this feeling, I think. I'm glad for you that you're going to be having increased therapy.
From what you said, this is an especially stressful, upsetting time for you & I'm glad you'll have the extra support time.
