Hi Manic,
I like stories well, like Lord or the Rings and such. When I was a kid, I used to like reading the choose your own adventure series. I like stories with magic, castles, knights, etc. I have even tried writing a story here and there but have not succeeded so far in going much further.

If I were to start with a fantasy, my hero's name would be David (my husband). He would be a Viking and I would be a damsel in distress in the early times. I would be cold and starving in the frigid north. He would have to travel across the sea for me. Somehow, we would find a way to get through war, famine, and find a magical place where we could be safe. This is probably vague. But I like viking and pirate stories.
I dunno, I try to let my imagination soar, but it seems I get a mental block or writer's block. Thank you for offering to come up with a fantasy for me. Hope you are feeling better

But when its cold, then they have to warm each other with their body heat!

That's so funny, that's almost exactly like my fantasy with dreadlock guy on Star Gate Atlantis (see star trek thread above). He's not a Viking, but he's very... primitive I guess you would say.

I've also tried to write fiction and just couldn't do it. I do like to write, but I could never think up something like Hobbits or worlds within worlds or anything cool like that.

This is a nice fantasy story. Kinda makes me want to be a little kid again. When I have time to daydream, I will go to this place and get away from the things that sometimes plague me. I love the idea of being tiny and being able to flit about a fairy kingdom. I think unicorns and fairies should be real. It would be an awesome place to go for a vacation :) to be able to shrink down to size and have such an awesome time.
Thank you for writing this.
Have a good Sunday.

Sure you can come to wherever warm and sunny it would be. Perhaps a tropical island after we were rescued from pirates. I always like the story of Swiss Family Robinson lol. Have you ever been interested in treehouses or even living in one like on the movie Swiss Family Robinson, or the Blue Lagoon. That kinda sounds pretty nice. The island would have to have an awesome breeze, and swimming holes with the purest, blue water you have ever seen. You could dive to the bottom and not have to worry about losing air. Gosh, I wish I could scuba dive lol

I know exactly the dreadlock guy you are referring too on Stargate. What about a space pirate story for you. You are captured and the dreadlock guy leaves the Stargate Atlantis base, to save you from a space pirate ship. You land on a planet that looks like earth in the say 1600s-1700s. Imagine it just being the two of you. NO tears, no hunger, no pain...and of course you could have all those you love there transported via the stargate. I really should go find the one story I was writing on a blog somewhere, and actually work on it.
Have a happy Sunday

When I need to rest, I think I am going to use this fantasy theme to try to clear my head and fall asleep with sweet dreams. I think it would be a helpful thing to distract my mind with something beautiful and innocent as opposed to the gnawing thoughts of OCD.

Fairyland Here I come :)
