I tried to start a book about four times last night. The same book, I was desperate, it's by a woman who purportedly had (has) 100 different personalities, and one of them was stalking her.
I thought it was amazing, that she has 100 personalites and they're all boring

Reminds me of an old Cosby (I think) joke when discussing the, uh, positive aspect use of mind expanding chemicals by rationalizing: "....but it opens the mind and enhances personality..."
The BIG question:
But supposing one is an @ssh-le?

Oh yeah, I remember that, it was Cosby.
I tried that drug, twice in my early twenties, and what I found amazing was that you could talk to a complete A*shole for hours, and it was
just a great time. It scared me, I liked it far too much, so I never did it again.Interestingly the only really good psychiatrist,
I had asked me if I did "recreational drugs"
I said no, not for about 5 years and only three times in total He said what did the cocaine do for you? I said, I loved it, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. "pot?"
"panic attacks and depression"
He got from that what psych meds would work.
And they did.
I had terrible anxiety and every other dr automatically gave me "downer drugs"
Which made me worse.
Super Doc gave me dexedrine, which I still take, same amount 12 years later, and it still works.
I thought *he* was nuts. Now, I've done it again.
Gone off on another topic, and probably making you feel like "Oh, um, I really only wanted to post that one post, but now, I guess, I wonder how I can get out of politely not answering"So If you'd like,
I can give you a follow up post.
That's what I'll do.

I am a goddess, but not the goddess of health, I'm afraid. The grapes were delicious, but next time a Martini and cigarrette would go down just fine.

Ah, Gabbette, you're a sweetie.
Yes, I had my time of: "it's all part of my rock 'n roll fantasy" too... My impaired a-hole tendencies that showed up was feeling I had suddenly become WWWAAAYYY more intelligent than I had ever been - enlighten even and very anxious to share....
Sorry about the book - I did love your critique : )
