Does anyone know.
Is it illegal to use copyrights movies?
How do you do it?
How do you get the video, say you have a DVD player in you laptop and you want to show a scene from a movie. I think you have to open a file or something, but how do you transfer it over to the computer?

Yes, it's totally illegal to put copyrighted movie clips on Youtube - there is a huge lawsuit going on right now - youtube is already being sued for over a billion dollars for this very thing. It's totally illegal to copy or infringe on a copyrighted movie in any way.
You can only upload your own video clips & if you do & don't have the authoring tools to encode it -it'll probably be pirated.
