Hi Alex,
I'll take some of that heat. It snowed here on Thursday. It didn't stick to the ground, but still, it's only October! Ugh. I hate winter, wait it's still Fall. I hate Fall, too.

50°F IS a cold snap! Not that its not welcome now and again. But still, I bet you're not jumping in the Guadalupe at that temp! BTW, that's my favorite area of Texas. There's a few of yall around there. We should have a little babble get together there someday.
I've been going outside everyday for my lunch hour to read my book (its been the equivelent of alexandra_k's 30°C here). There's this awesome little secluded place I've found with a little bench hidden in some big trees and foliage (my new job is so bitchin). Considering in the past I always had to go to the smoking area if I wanted to go outside for breaks, its pretty damn cool. Not that I mind the smokers (I'm an exsmoker who's always going around trying to inhale other peoples smoke), its just that they usually delegate them to the worst places, as if to punish them for smoking. I've never worked anywhere that was as pretty as where I work now. These rich folks really know how to live!

I think Florida is similar to Brisbane temperaturewise...
And I'm not in Brisbane (thank god)
Though I've heard it is a lovely place to visit in winter :-)
It is much cooler today. Nice breeze.
Yesterday when I opened the door to the outside world...
There was this rush of hot air coming at me.
It is so dry...
Fans don't seem to do anything except shove the air around.
You can feel the air sucking the moisture out of your eyes.
Ugh.
I'm not much of a summer person...:-(

Yes, its been around 85°F as a high here this week. After several weeks of 97°-105°F, that's pretty darn cool! And in the mornings its downright cold! 50°F!!!-T
