Wouldn't following your advice worsen the problem?
Kinda like "vote for a third party and you're throwing your vote away". ;)

> MattPsychiatric disorders are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week -- its just perhaps that some people are fortunate enough to manage to eke out an existance on the weekend and feel a little bit of life for a change. Same reason the gym was empty this evening, and will be full Monday morning.
Life has curious patterns -- here in Southern California gridlock seems to move Tuesday through Friday midday.
But don't let that stop you from posting -- there are still a few of us around, and it also may already be tomorrow in another part of the world.

Certainly.
I never post on weekends.
:-)
Perhaps the "Social" board is more active. If you are looking for human interaction and a place to vent and share, that might be the place to find it. Even if you don't receive an immediate response, the act of reaching out can be therapeutic, as one avoids isolation. The dynamics of the boards are sometimes unpredictable. Some posts will not receive replies for any number of reasons, but they rarely go unnoticed. Don't take it personally. If you need more immediate attention, it might be a good idea to have a few phone numbers available for crises. I don't participate on IRC or other chat rooms, but perhaps you might find them helpful.
Mental illness can foster isolation. I know that PB can help you remain connected to other people. However, the medium has its limits.
How old are you?
How long have you been depressed?
How often do you talk to friends or family?
Do you feel alone?
You're not.

Matt it seems like Thursday is the magic day. That gives posters a chance to respond when they're home on the weekend. Just a personal obaservation. Love Mom 2
