I was out shopping because I was going to have the minister and his wife over for tea.
And they had little plastic containers on sale, 3 for $6.66 I hurriedly picked them up, not thinking about it until the day company arrived.I was serving crudites, and I was in the kitchen when I heard a shriek from the living room
It was the ministers wife. She was speechlessly pointing at the bowl, gasping for air.Now I *knew* a proper hostess d oesn't serve crudites in plastic, but I thought she'd be more discreet. It wasn't until she finally got out the words
" It says.. It says.. Fri* with ONE *G*"
That I saw what I had done.
To think they had been in my cupboard blaspheming this whole time.
Maybe that's why they were on sale?

I'm actually suprised that you said it, but people have told me that I have a very "dry" sense of humor. I guess my personality comes through after all.
