I can't seem to decide between a deep red and some shade of gray.

....do I have to stay a broken one? :-(

Will the kids still use me?
Won't I be pushed aside? Thrown away even?

Couldn't somebody maybe try to put me back together, with tape...or melt me, or something?

If not, that's ok, too. (Ha, ha, my T. sometimes likes to talk about 'finding that broken piece'...but he likes me now, just exactly how I am, too)

Broken crayons are OK. They're like all the toys on The Island of Misfit Toys in the "Rudolph" movie...I really always wanted to go live and play with them...

Your thoughts are very much like Gestalt therapy. I like that!

Gosh, you're right, but I would've never thought of it that way.... I know a little about Gestalt and it seems intriguing. You know, I pretty much always think this way, though, like becoming the object briefly...maybe I thought everyone did.... Very interesting.

>>> OMG! ME TOO! I love the Misfit toys!

:-) They're great, don't you think?

This really did come up in therapy at least once. When I first said it, I think I was maybe upset, and my T. looked sort of sad and sorry....but the more I talked, his demeanor changed, and I think he asked me what I thought the good and nice parts were about identifying with misfit toys. I said that even if I felt like a misfit in the *big* world, the toys on the island belong with each other, they aren't misfits on their island, and...they are NOT alone! He seemed to like that answer a lot.

But gg, which crayon are you?

I'd guess a deep, burnt orange....or possibly a mauve...am I way off?

Exactly!

And I guess I'd say I'd be blue-green, but I think there are also smudges or chips of yellow, orange, red, etc. stuck on the wrapper.

I really really tend to stay away from mauve. It clashes with my hair. :)

well, ct, the natural question there, for one with a mind that works the way mine does, is...

why a candy mold?
do you want someone to eat me?!!!!!!

But I - sweet, innocent, proper, decent, polite 10derHeart - would *never* post anything like that!

I didn't think you had it in you 10der! ;~}

Actually, for once I was thinking nicely! You could be melted, poured into a candy mold and be a brand-new shaped crayon once it cools and dries.

I figured as much. That would be totally cool, actually. See...that's why the way I chose to take it was even more disgusting. Shame on me!
