And maybe they deserve to be disappointed, by the way.
My new attitude. It's about time. Okay, by the way, I better get going, I have this manana attitude lately... thank god, for the first time in my life, I feel like I can slow down and relax, everything's taken care of ... it's so lovely. It's like a living meditation, you know? Man, I'm so incredibly full of contradictions today. And my juices are really flowing, and I think people pick up on it, I try to be inconspicuous, but I'm not, you know, I stick out like a sore thumb. Sigh.

I did, and it was lovely. I found an article in this month's Utne Reader, on how to write porn. It was funny, very funny, and a bit of a turn-on, you know, because I was imagining what I was reading ... well, then I had the Kama Sutra and was reading through, thinking stuff and watching people.. I had fun. It was all in my head but I feel too turned on, you know, like even just walking turns me on. Sigh. Whew. A touch from the right person right now and my Elbow could be an erotic zone ...

Here's a telepathic run of a finger ever so tenderly and lightly from the back of your hand right up to the elbow. Out that door and running down the street now. Phew that was close.

Am in rather a bad place emotionally right now, myself, but glad to hear your sense of humor restored.
Love you,

Hi Sunny,
Well, my wife said that it was over. This after I slipped the dog some of my cheeseburger when I said I wouldn't feed him table food anymore. I may love women but I will never understand them. Anyway, she moved into another room and things were very dramatic for a while. She is having a lumpechtomy Wednesday and Audra is heading off to Barcelona for a year so I am just a major annoyance for her. She's back sleeping with me and just crabby. I've been really careful to make the bed and coffee and vacuum without being told, etc. I lay on the couch and scratch and swear with my neighbor when she's not around. It's not like she's got me by the balls, but she scared me into thinking that she didn't love me anymore. I've been through that once or twice before, and so she really freaked me out. I won't participate here as intensely as before, but I couldn't resist talking to you sunny. I'm sorry that things are tough for you right now. Did you develop a plan about your future with your SO?

wife is probably just freaking out on all quarters because of the lumpectomy... I would do the same. Talk to her. Cry with her if you want to. Let her know you understand why she's crabby and that you don't blame her. Tell her you couldn't possibly undertand exactly what she is going through and that you wish you could just to be able to be that much more able to be of assistance. She's not talking THAT much about it with you because she knows that as a man, you can't understand. I'm sure she's talked some, but not nearly as much as she needs to. I know it stinks walking around on eggshells... I've done it a time or two myself. I hope things get better with you two soon.
I've just cut and will paste below the short version of what's going on with me...
"gosh, the story is long...
suffice it to say that we are "separated"...
-he physically hurt me (tried to strangle me)while he was drunk and we were having a silly argument in a hotel room on the second night of our mini-vacation down in New Orleans,
-I ran straight to the airport and took the next flight home,
-we have to break our lease that still has 15 mos left, they are threatening to sue for the entire $22,100.00 left on lease til it ends on 7/31/06.
-spent a week on my brother's couch (with my poor kitty in their unfinished basement),
-got a new apt.
With him promising no more drinking of hard alcohol, no using of coke, and some anger management classes/therapy, I am willing to give "us" another try.He vacillates between acting only businesslike over the lease termination situation and being loving/sorry/concilliatory, wanting to go to the anger management classes and talking about couples couselling while living separately, etc... He is talking the talk, but I have yet to see him start walking the walk...
So, I would rather be separated and working it out, but I am rather afraid that he is going to just disappear once the business stuff is concluded. I am torn between feeling that it could eventually wind up better than ever and that "we" only ever existed in my mind...
37 and still stupid...looking for a large enough hole to jump in and hide..."

please don't let me think that you meant scared women turn you on or that being scared turns you on...sexual fantasies that would never be acted on aside.
Right now I just couldn't bear it...
Have never felt less sexual in my entire life...

you don't scare me...okay, maybe if it was really early and i ran into you getting the paper and you hadn't brushed your teeth yet and your face was all stubbly and maybe if you had on some funny looking bugs bunny pajamas and slippers with little heads on them that should be cartoon characters but instead resembled something my dog dragged in...then, maybe, just maybe...

sunny, of course you didn't insult me. Even if things are strained at home it's important for me to hear a woman's perspective. Pray that all goes well tomorrow.
Thanks for updating me about you guys. You must love him a lot to be so patient. We have never met you in person sunny and yet we realize what a prize you are. How can someone who shares a life with you not seem to know this?

I can safely say non of the above sunny. The thought of making a woman afraid just makes me feel sick.
> Right now I just couldn't bear it...

> Have never felt less sexual in my entire life...I can understand that. With all things you're thinking and feeling right now I think I'd find it difficult just being numb. You're amazing to me sunny, simply amazing. It makes me very proud to know you even just the little tiny bit that I do.
Now come and play on the swings with Alex, Jai, Ana, Susan and me and let's see if we can't get Toph and his wife there too. What's your favourite indulgent snack and I'll bring some of it too.

it took me many years to find people like you.
You all have brought me enormous amounts of joy- realizing that there are actually some pretty darn wonderful people out there to play with, to chat with, to love. I really had given up on humanity for a while...
I love each and every one of you. I'm not sure what I would have done if you all hadn't been here to listen, to comfort, to remind me to take some time to play throughout these last few months.
There are no words, but maybe that's 'cause there is a gigantic frog in my throat and tears in my eyes because I'm lucky enough to be getting to know you...
Guess it's time to play hide-and-seek, so I can hide behind a bush until I can stop embarassing my friends with my sloppy, happy tears...
who wants to be it first??
