Diet pills are a form of speed (amphetamene?).
They curb the appetite.
They are addictive...

Yes they are addictive - I have been taking them for years and everytime I try to stop I can't. I'm already immune to them which means the two I take daily are more for what my head says that actually curbing my appetite. They have not reacted badly (yet) to my other medication. I tried about a month ago to quit them. I wonder if I ever will.

now that must be discouraging.
I used to be quite thin and I miss it.
I look at old photos and weep.my partner weighs less than me and he's 4 inches taller.
he looks great...
He tells me I look great but when I look in a mirror I see the big woman I have become.Oh joy.
it's very humbling....
Jai
ps even when I was thin I thought I was fat????

Not all diet pills are addictive. It used to be that diet pills were synonymous with amphetemines, but that was a long time ago. Now there are all sorts of diet pills, some are thermogenic, with green tea, and cayenne pepper, those boost your metabolism a bit. The one's that had ephedra really worked for me, but now those ones are banned. Low carb really works for me, but being a vegetarian it's so much trouble I rarely do it for long...
I don't mind the weight I am, except I'd really like to just be able to slip on a pair of shorts and a tank top or a little summer dress and go out the door, that must feel so nice. I don't think I've been able to do that since I was 10...
That's probably part of the reason I have summer
S.A.D too.. (kidding)
