Just got back from hospital

Posted by Ilene on January 6, 2005, at 15:52:51

I've been in the psych ward of a large teaching hospital since mid-November. Had several ECTs, which I will be continuing as an outpatient. Will also be participating in what's called "partial hospitalization" at a different hospital that is close to home. In general I feel much better, but I think readusting to home life is going to be a little rough at first.

It was probably the smartest thing I ever did.

I.

yeah, so did i. i am having some trouble adjusting to home life. it seems weird now not to be told when to eat and sleep and when to go to group, etc. i was only in the hospital 6 days. i probably should have been there longer, but i am doing ok at the moment. hope you are too.

Welcome back. Glad you're doing so well. I didn't know you were in the hospital. I sent you a babblemail a little while back. Please ignore it.

Wishing you all the best.

I'm really glad that you were able to go and take care of yourself. That takes a lot of strength.

I found partial hospitalization to be quite helpful. I hope it is helpful for you.
