konnen is irregular. it translates as such...

du kanst

wir konnen
ihr konnt
sie konnen
Sie konnenmaybe i do remember more than i thought? but, thanks for the review session.... (oh, adn there's an umlaut over all the o's, which gives it the "er" sound. say it with me now.... "konnen")

i recall the word in question was kennen, not konnen....to know, i believe, as opposed to can....all the best, chemist
