You know, I never thought about changing my favorite "user name" (which is a noncreative combination of my first/last names) for this board. Actually, I didn't really think I would post all that much beyond my initial question or two about Lexapro.
So, I had to follow your lead and do a search on "LEERAN" and I'm LMAO at what came up first in the search:
"Leerans are 'psychic frogs.' They have slimy, yellow, pebbly skin. They have two big back legs like frogs, but instead of two front legs, they have four tentacles evenly spaced around the their bodies. Well, reading this thread made me curious, so I searched my name at google. None of my posts here appear, and I went through 14 pages of sites, at least.But I have not given anyone my screen name anyway. My paranoia is about the fact that not recently, but a while back, I did tell some friends about this site (not my name, tho). So every once in a while I get paranoid and wonder if any of them would come here and read and figure out who I am.
Or that someone who came here on their own would recognize me from things I say. I have tried to avoid specific info tht would place me geographically or professionally, etc. etc. but someone with a lot of time on their hands could probably make a guess. I know the likelihood of that is slim, and slimmer still that someone who happened to come here on their own would read enough of my posts to figure out who I am etc. etc.
But each time I disclose something that in and of itself doesn't reveal my identity, but could be recognized by someone who knows events and people in my life, I get a bit paranoid.
Discretion is the key word. I mean if you think about it, I am writing my personal stuff in a published document which will go on into perpetuity and is instantly accessible by just about everyone with access to a computer. Am I being discreet enough?

Hey. So here's the situation. It's past 2:00 a.m. here in the undisclosed New England state between maine and Connecticut. We can't be too careful. And of course must stick to the thread. I like continuity. Although it looks like we're changing it now, hmm?
So we just watched "The Ring" and sweet screamin' Moses, it was scary as hell. Well I thought I'd help myself through it with a diet vanilla coke and Bacardi. Now I realize I'm probably screwed because I'm still awake and don't think I'm allowed to take Prosom now(estazolam)...
My husband just said, "You don't need to sleep THAT bad!". of course he's probably already asleep...

you got me wondering too- I did a search using my name here (with the #) and the first hits were suicide posts on this forum! But just using my name, there were over 2 million hits. at times i feel like i'm too revealing here, but i have never mentioned this site to anyone (maybe because i don't know anyone else that is as crazy as me:-). but i do think you have a legitimate concern, i just wish i had some answers. take care, judy

I've tried it but realize now that I seem to have rather rigid rules about what flavor is "acceptable" in liquid form. Or should I say carbonated form. Chocolate shouldn't be carbonated. "Why's vanilla ok then, Karen?" you might counter. It's because it is part of the Coke...not standing on its own.
I'm rather partial to Diet Cherry Coke as well. not as sweet of an aftertaste. Quite the little connoisseur, eh? Obsessed, eh? Bored, eh?Trading Spaces and soda debates- ah Saturday night...

I don't think I'll ever get over the demise of Sunkist Diet Lemonade. It was tangy and carbonated and just the closest thing to a taste bud orgasm that I've ever found.
I even called the company (in Texas, as I recall) to find out why I could no longer find it in any grocery store. Their vapid response?
Merchandising.
Shelf space.
Lack of interest.I nearly wept. I drank this stuff like water.
I kept the number on my Rolodex for a couple years, thinking I would call them back to harrass them from time to time for taking away one of life's simple pleasures.
Occasionally, a six-pack or two would show up in weird places, like salvage grocery stores, Big Lots, places like that. I would buy every can and horde it at the back of the pantry (this was all about ten years ago).
I also love Green River. It's available at Bristol Farms out here in California for about $1.80 a bottle, but it "ain't Diet Sunkist Lemonade."
I take it quite personally when companies discontinue products that I love. Over the years I've attributed it to my weird taste that typically runs counterclockwise to the rest of the world.
Does anyone else lament the passing of a favorite product? I just looked it up on the internet once again. "Sunkist Diet Lemonade" = "Search yielded no results."
Sad.
Did I say this was a good day???
(I'm kidding, of course - it is a good day but I do miss that beverage).
