Hi Lisa,
I posted earlier that I lost my second job this year and have started drinking again. Not too bad - yet. But I
really need to know how you are doing so I can get some
support from you or work together with you to put the BEAST in his place.Let me know how you're doing. Got a crutch if you need

How long had you been sober? I'm just curious, I've been in recovery for 13 years. Anything I can do to help?

I term myself a cyclical drinker. I get sober, slip, and get sober again. This time I had 4 months, before that 2 years, etc. Thankfully the
drinking cycles are getting shorter.Don't know what you could do to help. I do appreciate knowing you're out there. I hope I can

Mark, I'm so sorry, I've only just seen your post - I don't usually look on this board.
Well, my non-drinking fell apart, too. So I eventually went to my doctor for some advice. He has put me on some tablets which he says will help me stop wanting to drink. I managed to stay off it all last week... until Friday came, and I thought, I'll just treat myself to one drink. Of course, this meant I was drinking all over the weekend too. Sigh.
How are you doing now?
