How sad to have missed being a child...the pure joy of sitting in sunlight, the smell of color crayons, the pride in learning to swing.
I hope you can allow yourself these things now, to be childlike sometimes. It is a gift you can give yourself.

A lot of us don't remember any thing useful or meaningful from our childhoods. You are not alone.please stay safe this weekend. it's gonna be a tough one, but stay safe. You're going to make it and it's going to be okay.
remember making brownies last night? you want to come over for a brownie and a glass of cold (soy) milk?
remember playing by the creek and making daisy chains on the mossy earth?
take some time out for YOU muffled and find something to get grounded in the here and now.
I went to a cafe and knitted, right around the time when I started pulling out my hair. ran into my friends, who bought me a free tea, and a group of older folks who admired my knitting project.
I hope that you can find an eensy weensy bit of joy, and rejoice, as an innocent.

I am sorry to see you're having a difficult time. Looking back in past is soooo hard.
Please follow good advice from Daisy and Lurpsie.
Love yourself --- do something childISH just for you, just because you can. That way you are in control and not the crud from the past.

yeah.. you were a child.. that is where the ikids came from.. you were a child once but maybe not in the way that most children are thought of as being.. We were all children in one way or another..I know waht you mean.. i don't like the thought of every having been a child but i remember a couple of toys i played with so I must hve been a child
