I've been away for a couple of weeks and even with internet access I was hugely busy. I'm trying to catch up on threads now.
Part of being away was hard - I missed a lot of therapy sessions. But part of it meant having an opportunity this last weekend to reflect on my therapy and my life with people who have come to mean a great deal to me. And amongst the tears and deep conversations there was a great deal of laughter. I don't laugh often enough, or hard enough these days, so I am so thankful for that. And the laughter was just easy and spontaneous. We were definitely laughing together, not at one another, even as we teased and nudged each other to see the humor.
I even got sand between my toes for these bsoul-sisters. I miss them already.
Thank you for asking about me. It is always nice to be missed.
