Tonight I asked my T...

Posted by TherapyGirl on January 4, 2007, at 19:38:08

how tall she is, how much she weighs and what size clothes she wears. And she answered me. :-)

I was fairly hesitant to do it beforehand, but somehow when I was sitting there, it just seemed okay. I'm not sure what I would have done if she had refused to answer (although, of course, I told her she didn't have to tell me). But I did give her my reasoning before she had to answer, so all in all I think it was okay.

I've lost 51 lbs. (42 more to go) as of this morning and I'm trying to get my head on straight about body size and clothes sizes, etc. I feel like it has all been so distorted for so long.

Anyway, I'm glad I asked her (because she's "regular" size, not skinny) and I'm even more glad she answered.

good for you therapygirl :) It sounds like having her answer honestly was helpful for you. You must have a good, trusting relationship with your T to be able to ask her that. I'm glad it worked out well.

And congrats on losing 51 lbs! That's amazing.

I am so jealous! I'd love to know my T's answers to those ?'s. I'm actually always trying to figure out exactly what size she is. Just wanted you to know that other folks out there have the same questions!

Best,
EE
