Dear Readers,
Does anyone know of a case of bipolar disorder that only manifests itself in manic waves and no waves of depression?
thanks Abee

I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure that if there is no depressive phases, it wouldnt classify as bipolar (if im wrong, someone feel free to correct me). I'd wonder if maybe the depressive phases are just not very severe and not recognized as being depression by the person, if they truly are bipolar.. or else if its some other kind of disorder. Something related to anxiety? I really dont know. I cant think of any particular disorder charactized by mania only.. hm.

Yeah, I've heard of that, in fact, that's what my mom's doctor finally diagnosed her with when she was 60. But she suffered from it all of her life.
There is a graduation of the swings, people can be mainly manic, and then cycle to a very mild depression, then back to mania again. It's sad
If it hadn't very nearly killed me, it would be even sadder.
